Hi Dave,
You don't know me but I used to hang around with your brother Dan. I graduated from Dana in "76". Clarinet major. Grew up in New Castle.
Dan told me to check out your site and I am blown away by your creative talents and musicianship. It made my night to listening to your compositions. If you ever come out to Albuquerque, New Mexico, look me up.
Tell whoever may remember me at Dana hello from Bob Gusch and from my wife Elene Gusch (Robin Smerek). Dana gratuate also. She said to say hi to Mr. Slocum.

Dave always have loved your playing. I go back a few years when the Jazz Unit played at West 6th and lakeside in Cleveland Moon Palace is one of my all time favorites Thanks for the song

Hello Dave, I'm from Brazil and you must know that I' m the one who's replacing you (or at least is what I'm trying to do) in Jack Schantz Quartet here in Belo Horizonte. I just came here to see and to know more about you, your work and your music. And I'm very glad to see how big musician you are. Inspired me a lot. I wish, from the bottom of my heart, that you get better soon. And hope see you playing as soon as possible. For me, with Jack, is being a great experience and a real learning.
